For me, it was realizing that many things I had been taught growing up were opinions, wrong interpretations based on a leader needing to make a point for an agenda and just wrong interpretations that weren’t derived from the original language and culture of the Bible. This painting is our history burning up but it still carries hope. We are not victims, we are empowered to learn the truth.
