“Entanglement” is a mixed media piece on fine art print that evolved as I worked through my past experiences with the church. Initially, it reflected my own separation, but it soon became a portrayal of the bride, the church itself, cutting ties with a system devoid of Christ. The figure, marked by a cross tattoo, represents a journey of healing and growth—one that involves severing from a broken system to embrace hope, truth, joy, peace, and freedom. I sense a change coming, and the bride is ready for what’s next.
